The problem in society today is that people's identities are be taken by criminals trying to hide from the lawenfocers. The everyday crimimals know how the system works and they can use the identities' of people that are not in system to their benifit. Having this bill will stop identities from being taken and the wrong people from getting wrongly convictected. This will also lowwer the chance of people with same names from being wrongly convicted.
II. Facts that demonstrate that there is a problem are:(Two articles and bibliography must be attached)
A 32 year old Jeremy Bryan Jones had an outstanding 2000 arreast warrant for sexual assault. He had many aliases to avoid any links with the arrest warrent. John Paul Chapman was one of his aliases he obtain a birth certificate and then he got a Missouri driver’s license. Jeremy Jones a.k.a Jones Chapman had commited about 20 murders and almost got away with them since he was using someone else's identity.
People that have a criminal background and want to get a job write in their SSN with some of the numbers changed or lie during the interview and say that their county's sheriffs records aren't computerized. In Ohio the people with arrest records are public and some companies let the employee's pick up their own records. Before the employee hands them the records they ask a friend with a clean record and to get their records sheet and then the they hide their arrests and make a photocopy of the paper.
